Hack4.ai: A 48-Hour AI Hackathon Experience

Welcome to hack4.ai - the ultimate playground for AI enthusiasts, innovators, coders and builders looking to make the most out of what AI tools and technology can offer. Whether you're a coder, a creative artist, a business strategist, or simply someone curious about AI, this hackathon is an opportunity to experiment, build and learn.

ABOUT THE HACKATHON

  • The hackathon will take place onsite from Friday, April 25 until Sunday, April 27. Event venue is Latvijas Kultūras akadēmija in Riga, Latvia.
  • Register individually or join with an existing team. Ideal team size is 2-5 people.
  • The hackathon onsite will offer AI mentors, workshops and experts to help you build your idea, learn AI tools and fast-track your AI skills.
  • The hackathon is open to anyone 18+, with all levels of experience. 
  • Participation for accepted teams is completely FREE. Space is limited.

Requirements

How to Participate:

We will hold a matchmaking pre-event on April 9, where you will be able to either find a team to join or pitch your idea to find people to work with. To be approved for participation, you will have to form a team of 2-5 people. We do limit the amount of parcitipants to 25 teams, and we will do an initial screening and selection if more teams have applied, so make sure that your idea profile is up-do-date with as precise information as possible and at least 2-5 members have joined your team.

Judging Criteria

  • Originality of idea (0-5 points)
    Uniqueness and features of product/process and the degree to which the idea is disruptive
  • Progress during hackathon (0-5 points)
    How much the team challenged themselves and how far has the team progressed with the project during the hackathon
  • Impact and viability (0-5 points)
    Is there a real problem being solved by the solution and is the idea viable outside of the hackathon
  • Demo & presentation (0-5 points)
    Clarity and quality of the final idea presentation
